Watermelon Salad
Utensils:
salad plate
cutting board
knife
spoon
tea-towel
Ingredients:
lettuce leaves
1 slice of watermelon 3 cm thick
1 cup cottage cheese
strawberries
Method:
1. Wash the lettuce leaves under cold tap water, then pat them dry with the tea-towel. Arrange the lettuce on a salad plate.
2. Ask an adult to cut the watermelon into 5 wedges on the cutting board, then cut off the rind.
3. Arrange the melon wedges on the lettuce in a circle with the points facing out to make a star.
4. Spoon the cottage cheese into the centre of the star.
5. Now arrange the berries on top of the cottage cheese.
