Strawberry Liqueur
2 punnets (500g) strawberries
2 cups gin
1 cup sugar
Wash and hull strawberries, cut in half, place in china or plastic container with gin, cover tightly, stand 2 days. Add sugar, stir to dissolve, strain; pour into sterilised bottle or jar, seal, stand in cool dark place for at least 2 weeks.
Makes about 2.5 cups
