Sesame Chicken Drumsticks
Serves 4
8 drumsticks, skin removed
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp minced ginger
1 tbsp honey
2 tsp sesame seeds
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the skinless drumsticks into a large baking dish. Combine the soy sauce, garlic, ginger and honey in a small jug, and pour over the chicken. Turn to coat well.
2. Bake for 45 minutes, turning the drumsticks several times during cooking. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
3. Place the sesame seeds into a dry frying pan and cook over medium heat until golden – take care not to burn them. Transfer to a plate to cool.
4. Transfer the drumsticks to a container and pour the sauce left in the baking dish over them. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
