M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes about 30
125g unsalted butter
1/2 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 lightly beaten egg
1 3/4 cup SR Flour
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup M&M’s
1. Preheat oven to 180C and grease biscuit trays.
2. Cream together butter, sugars and vanilla. Add egg and beat until well combined.
3. Mix in sifted flour and salt. Add chocolate chips and M&M’s and mix well.
4. Shape the dough into small balls and place on prepared oven trays. Make sure you allow a little room for them to spread as they do spread a bit.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, they will still look pale and a little uncooked when they should be taken out. Take them out of the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes so they are easier to get off the trays.
