Fudge Brownies
# 1 cup butter or margarine
# 4 cubes unsweetened chocolate
# 2 cups sugar
# 4 eggs
# 1 cup all-purpose flour
# 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
# 1/2 teaspoon salt
# 2 cups coarsely chopped nuts
Preheat over to 350 F. Grease 13″ x 9″ baking pan. In large saucepan over very low heat, melt butter or margarine and chocolate, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Cool slightly.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating until well blended after each addition. Stir in flour, vanilla and salt; Stir in nuts. Pour into pan. Bake 30 to 35 mins until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack; Cut into pieces.
Makes about 2 dozen brownies.
