Fruit and Nut Slice
Base:
250g plain chocolate biscuits
125g unsalted butter, melted
extra hazelnuts to serve
Filling:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
50g unsalted butter, chopped
Topping:
1/2 cup Nutella (Chocolate/Hazelnut Spread)
200g milk chocolate bits/melts or chopped
25g butter
1/2 cup sultanas
1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts, chopped
1. Process biscuits until finely crushed, add butter, process until just combined. Press crumb mixture into a slice pan and refrigerate.
2. Melt condensed milk and butter over a medium heat, whisking constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Spread over base and stand for 10 minutes.
3. Melt Nutella, chocolate and butter over a low heat until smooth. Add sultanas and nuts. Spread over the filling. Refrigerate until set.
