Coconut Macaroons
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornflour
1 egg
pinch salt
1. Combine coconut, sugar and cornflour in bowl.
2. Beat together egg and salt; stir in dry ingredients and mix well.
3. Place heaped tablespoons of mixture on greased and lightly cornfloured oven trays
4. Bake in moderate oven 190-200C/375-400F for 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
5. Remove from oven; loosen on trays immediately; allow to cool on trays.
