Chocolate Fudge Nut Squares
Makes About 25 Pieces
500g good-quality milk or dark chocolate
250ml (1 cup) sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons icing sugar
70g butter
3/4 cup pistachios, roughly chopped
1. Line a 28cm x 18cm (base measurement) lamington tin with non-stick baking paper.
2. Place the chocolate, condensed milk and icing sugar in a heavy-based saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir until the chocolate melts, about 5 minutes. Add the butter and stir until smooth and glossy, about 5 minutes. Add the pistachios and combine. Pour into the lined tin and place in the fridge for 1 hour to set. Cut into squares.
