Braised BBQ Ribs
2 kg beef short ribs in 8cm lengths
2 medium onions chopped
1 tbsp butter
2/3 cup BBQ sauce
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
Put ribs in a 250 Celsius oven for fifteen minutes. Drain and place into crock-pot.
Sauté onions in the butter in a frypan until golden brown.
Add BBQ sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and brown sugar. Mix well and cook over low heat for 2 minutes.
Pour the sauce over the meat, cover and cook on low setting (100 Celsius) for eight hours.
Serves 4-5.
