Banana Rice Porridge
1/4 cup (20 g / 3/4 oz) rolled rice flakes cereal
1 cup (250 ml / 8 fl oz) soy or rice milk*
1 medium ripe banana, mashed
1. Put the rice flakes cereal and milk into a pan over medium heat. Stir for 5 minutes or until the rice flakes are soft and the porridge has thickened.
2. Remove from the heat and stir in the mashed banana.
Serves 2.
* Use full-fat soy or rice milk. Low-fat products are not suitable for children less than 2 years of age.
