Seven Layer Slice
Serves: 10
125g melted butter
1 cup (125g) sweet biscuit crumbs
1 cup (125g) chocolate chips
1 cup (125g) butterscotch chips (or white chocolate chips)
1 cup (90g) desiccated coconut
1 tin (395g) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup (125g) chopped walnuts
1. Preheat oven to 165 degrees C.
2. Pour the butter into a 22x33cm baking dish, then sprinkle the biscuit crumbs on top, pressing down to form a crust. Sprinkle evenly with the chocolate chips, the butterscotch or white chocolate chips and desiccated coconut. Drizzle the condensed milk over the top, then sprinkle with the chopped walnuts.
3. Bake in the preheated oven until the condensed milk has thickened and turned brown, and the walnuts have browned, 30 to 45 minutes. Cool to room temperature on a wire rack and cut into squares to serve.
