Cream Scones
2 cups self raising flour
1 egg
2 dessert spoons of sugar
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup milk
Beat egg and sugar together. Add cream and milk and stir. Add sifted flour to form a soft dough. pat out to about half an inch thick on a floured surface and cut into circles with a cutter and arrange close together on a baking sheet. Bake at 250C for 10 to 12 minutes.
